I almost returned this as soon as I unpacked it, but it arrived about an hour before I was setting off to the airport – so I transferred all my stuff and took it with me, using it from the start. I haven’t stopped using it ever since, it really does work very well indeed, there seems to be a place for everything, and what’s more I can find everything that’s in it. The security aspects haven’t been tested, thank goodness, but it did feel safer on my travels. I’d like the fabric to be a bit more elegant, but overall I can’t think of any criticisms, I love it.

for anyone looking for a large purse, this is ideal. as well as the usual credit cards,paper money, coins,must do, or shopping lists, there is also loads of space for the all those supermarket and offers vouchers etc.

the wristlet is great, when you don’t need to take a handbag

I did spend some time looking for an easy to use, and organise, large purse, and this is it.

I agree with the other reviews on this site with just a few little exceptions. I found that the pockets hidden under the front flap pushed into the main compartment, even when empty. I wanted just that little bit more room inside. I would also have liked the flap to cover the main zipper as well. If not just for security, but for a bit of waterproofing too.

The elasticised pockets on the side are not big enough for even a small water bottle. That was most annoying.

Otherwise, comfortable to wear. Good to know the clips were an extra step for any would-be thief to get past.

Despite these little things, I felt a lot more relaxed on my latest trip, after having had my bag opened without my knowledge in Paris on my last trip.

I recommend this bag but if you can have a look at one in person before buying, do so, with your own stuff in it. Rating: 4 / 5

Product quality doesn’t look as good as in the photo. I doesn’t look durable enough for regular use. Mine arrived with some minor scratches but didn’t return mainly due to the hassle and because I could use the wristlet handle for another purse.

Provided extra peace of mind in locations like the Grand Place in Brussels or the tram system in Prague. I could clip the zips shut and enjoy the scenery not having to worry about pickpockets trying their luck for my iPod or cash. Roomy, plenty of pockets, waterproof (very important!), well-made from hard-wearing materials. I was worried about the weight at first but it turned out to be OK most of the time; the only occasions when I really felt the extra weight was when I was carrying it aswell as my back-pack. I wouldn’t have wanted to add a water bottle, that would have been uncomfortably heavy. A bit ‘masculine’ – there were times when I would have preferred a prettier handbag – but at least that means my husband can use it, too. Overall, I’m glad I made the investment, it makes an excellent travel bag and carries all the essentials (tickets, MP3 player(s), book, compact camera, purse and the various other odds and ends a woman ends up carrying). Pacsafe have an excellent website, too.

I was a victim of theft from an ordinary bag while on holiday last year, and needed something more secure. After a recommendation on a well known travel advice site I bought the Metrosafe 200 and I am delighted with it. It’s lightweight in spite of the steel meshing, and has loads of pockets and zips for odds and ends. Very cleverly designed and money well spent.

I have started to travel a lot with work, and I often hear stories of people's bags being slashed open and items stolen without the person feeling it. In fact, it happened to a colleague a few weeks back and this prompted me to buy this bag.

It is not heavy, not too big or bulky, is well-designed (it has a look of the Mandarina Duck range about it, I think) and will certainly be the perfect bag for my wallet, passport, keys, phone, etc.

As someone else stated, putting a bottle of water in the side pockets is probably not the easiest thing to do, but the side pockets will definitely hold one of those small fold-up umbrellas with ease.

A really excellent product for peace of mind - can't wait to use it! Rating: 5 / 5

This Sadler Large Leather Purse is very well made – I could tell as soon as I opened the box it was posted in. The box itself was nicely made! The wallet has lots of room for everything I need to put into it. There are plenty of spaces for cards, receipts, etc… The section for coins is very nice, too, with its metal clasp that shuts firmly. You will be thoroughly happy with this purchase and with the service you receive from Destination Fashion.
